Ayurveda is the oldest medicine in the world. Its goal consists of balancing the three components that form the unique makeup of each person, namely the doshas: vata (nervous system), pitta (metabolic system) and kapha (tissues and bodily fluids). Personal wellbeing depends on the balance of the three doshas, which can be obtained by opening the various channels of the mind, body and spirit and by motivating and educating the client on food, life style and a healthy way of thinking. Ayurveda considers thought as a form of food, and its cornerstone is self love and awareness. Awareness is the source of all happiness, of a healthy body and mind, as well as the basis of spiritual wholeness.
